This report highlights, the impact programm’s achievements and activities from 2017, looking back over five years of operation.
Through CDC Group, the Impact Programme has invested in 45 companies, in sectors including food and agriculture, construction and energy. The Programme has reached over 12 million low-income people directly and indirectly, offering products and services as varied as poultry feed, internet access and home solar systems.
The five-year perspective also offers the reader some valuable lessons on the realities of impact investment in challenging contexts, using measurement tools to create business value and how to effectively deploy technical assistance.
