The Villgro Awards recognises and felicitates outstanding individuals, enterprises, and other stakeholders in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem for their contribution to effecting change by building and supporting impactful and sustainable businesses.
Nominations can be submitted by anyone and are open until 17th February. The final awards will be made on 17th April at the Sankalp Unconvention Summit in Mumbai.
In 2013, nominations and applications will lead to winners in 5 categories: Academic Contribution, Journalist, Investor, Incubator (with the winner of each category receiving 50,000 rupees) and Innovative Enterprise (with the winner in this category receiving 1 lakh rupees).
