Today, October 22nd, The Daily Star of India reported on the outcome of a workshop organised by itself alongside two other organisations, the NGO Swisscontact and MART, the India based consulting firm focused on emerging markets. The article, viewable here, talks about the need for Multi-National Corporations to diversify their customer base into the 2.5 billion people who live on less than $2.50 a day in order for them to both expend their business and lift these people out of poverty.
