The website for the TATA Social Enterprise Challenge, a joint initiative by the TATA Group and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) to find India’s most promising social enterprises, has gone live.

Reported previously on The Artha Platform but without a way to apply the website proves the basic information for applicants and a simple application form that needs to be completed before 20th January 2013.

All organisations short-listed will receive three weeks of mentorship at IIM Calcutta campus and will be able to pitch to a selection of India’s social venture capital investors.  Teams making the final round will be able to pitch to IIM Calcutta for extended an incubation period and the top two finalists will receive a cash grant as investment.

February 22, 2013 Semi-Finals (Upto Top 10 to be chosen)
February 23, 2013 Grand Finale
February 24, 2013 Summit on Social Entrepreneurship at IIM Calcutta & Prize Distribution Ceremony
