Initiated by Intellecap in 2009, the Sankalp Forum is a holistic ecosystem designed to catalyze impact investments into sustainable and scalable social enterprises globally. In the past three years, more than two dozen Sankalp enterprises have received investments, and over 160 others have been made investment ready through mentoring and capacity building programs.
We have recently announced our latest initiative the Sankalp Forum – Samridhi Social Enterprise Recognition and Regional Summit. This initiative, in collaboration with the Department for International Development and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, will focus on Low Income States (Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal) to foster an enabling social entrepreneurship environment with the aim to bring forth sustainable and scalable businesses in 8 low-income states through the social enterprise recognition and regional summit.
The summit will witness participation from over 200 eminent personalities including investors, social enterprises, policy makers and academicians.
