After introducing more than 200 global leaders with a broad range of India’s most amazing social entrepreneurs, Journeys For Change are focusing the final journey of 2012 (and first of 2013) on MBA students from around the world.
As the news website 3BL summarises “this inaugural MBA Social Entrepreneurship Journey’s provisional itinerary includes visits to Dial 1298 (www.1298.in), which operates ambulances and provides accessible, high-quality emergency medical services in India; and emergency medical services; SELCO India (www.selco-india.com), which pioneers the sustainable energy solutions for the poor; and Industree Crafts (www.industree.org.in), India’s leading craft retailer supporting the livelihoods of rural producers. It includes a discussion with Solomon JP, India Country Director for Ashoka and an evening at Bombay Connect (www.unltdindia.org), Mumbai’s social entrepreneurship centre”.
