India @ Year 1: Making India a Global Innovation Powerhouse. The Government of India has declared “2010-2020” as the “Decade of Innovation” which marks the beginning of the journey for India to reach a position of global leadership powered by a robust innovation driven economy. To realize the goal of making India an Innovation powerhouse in the coming decade, it is paramount to inculcate the culture of Innovation within all stakeholders through systematic interventions at different stages. Venue: Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi The Indian Angel Network partners with CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) collaborating with National Innovation Council, Govt. of India which is organizing the “Decade of Innovation: India @ Year 1” on 16-17 November 2011 in Hotel The Lalit, New Delhi. Special rate for registration through Indian Angel Network @ Rs. 2500/- (instead of Rs. 6000/-) The main objective of the event is to provide a national platform to all the major stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem in the country to share their experiences in innovation and showcase their recent innovations. The topics of discussion would be around developing robust innovation ecosystem in the country through policy reforms, global and institutional linkages and entrepreneurship development initiatives. The event attracts participation from policy makers, industry, academia, institutions, entrepreneurs, VC’s, innovators, incubators and many others.
