Israel and India may launch an agricultural fund to help develop the Indian agricultural sector. Israel and India are discussing the establishment of a $50 million agricultural cooperation fund, Agriculture Minister Orit Noked, currently in India, said Monday. Noked said that India is a huge market and has great potential for agricultural development, while Israel was a powerhouse in agricultural R&D, irrigation, dairy farming, and biotechnology.
