Integrated Energy Centres are solar powered community centres that can host a range of basic services and activities lacking in an underserved community. The centre aims to positively impact quality of life and livelihoods by addressing fundamental energy needs and services relying on energy. This document is a brief progress report on four running centres and four new energy centres. Some of IEC’s partners, services and ongoing activities are mentioned in the section under ‘Other projects’. Villages features include: Dharmastala, Pai-Layout, Tubrahalli, Chitradurga, Udupi, Dharwad, Ramswamy-Palia, Panambur and others.
