The Deshpande Education Trust (DET), has launched a Masters of Social Entrepreneurship programme with the Karnatak University in Karnataka.

The two year program will see students receive training in finance, marketing and human resource development. Emphasis will also be placed on the overall entrepreneurial development and communication skills of the students.
The program director, Neelam Maheshwari, says: “We will be the first in north Karnataka to start social entrepreneurship course and we are already receiving good response from students who have finished their graduation from different streams like engineering, commerce, science and arts.”
